I never really had you on my radar as I just fight whoever they put in front of me, but as time went on and I slaughtered victim after victim, I saw a young big-balled lion roaring load.

That is when I realised that that I should stop drugs and focus on fighting.

Lets do this.

Bellicose XXIX

1673404153BELICOSSE_LOGO.jpg
25 FEB 2023

In a card with no names, Bellicose XXIX still rumbles across the MMA world as being called the "Horton vs Diggs Showdown."  Tim Horton has been one of the most vocal fighters on the Bellicose roster and has backed up his claim as "The Great White North" by performing in the cage and locking down the 185 belt.   Willie Diggs is another fighter that many know from his days of dominating RISE 185 division after making his name for being a key piece in winning the Alliance World Championship for his team.  He's moving up in competition and jumping into a league with much more experienced fighters and he's not been shy about the move.  In signing with Bellicose, he wanted a shot at the best right out of the gate, and Tim Horton was only too willing to comply.

While the rest of the card pales in comparison to the main event, many of these fighters have a lot on the line and will bring their best.  Sykora and Pisswater both have seen highs and lows and are looking to turn things around.  Ocampo is fresh off off two strait wins since joining Bellicose, and while he's a new guy, he's already putting his name on the map and a win over Carrillo-Moreno will surely see him move up in the rankings and see him match up against a top 10 fighter.

Without going on too long, let's jump into a quick look at a few of these fights.

Preliminary Bouts:

Mick Madison  vs  Joseph Mawma
Betty Crocker  vs  Dmitry Boytsov
Osmany Pizziconi  vs  Michael Fochi
Ingo Szopa  vs  Okon Omoh

Undercard:

Paul Kings  vs  Hasbulla Magomedov
Paul Kings.. Same fighter, new manager.  Now 1-0 under new management and not backing down for the chance to make it 2-0.  Great boxer, very good at BJJ, not fully developed in the clinch yet but improving daily.  He's 10cm taller and 15lbs heavier than Magomedov so this will be a micro David vs Goliath kind of fight.  Maybe more like Dwarf vs Gnome?  Magomedov has lost some tough fights of late and needs to bounce back here.  He doesn't want to stand and bang with Kings due to the range and skill gap there, so look for him to use his size advantage to grapple up and control this fight from clinch or top position on the ground.  Great wrestling, very good BJJ, but Magomedov will be a fish out of water so long as this fight stays at range.

Full of Hiddens  vs  Darryl Haze
Hiddens ended his career at ENIGMA after a 4 fight losing streak.  He spent a single fight at LAFC before the org was folded into Bellicose.  Since officially being on a Bellicose roster, Hiddens is 2-0 and gaining momentum.  After losing 5 in a row, a 2-0 gap sounds great.  But a hungry fighter wants to be great, not just sound great.  With elite grappling skills and a very good striking game, Hiddens doesn't really have a weakness to exploit and in this match he has Haze overmatched across the board.  This fight will test the heart and resolve of Haze and we'll see if he has that "it" factor to pull off the upset.

Kanud Odimabesser  vs  Benjamin Noeigati
Only fitting that Kanud be on the same card as Hiddens, being as they fought a close fight on the last card and Hiddens went on to win.  Much like Hiddens, Kanud doesn't have a glaring weakness.  He's a great striker and a great grappler, and holds a black belt in BJJ as well.  He's a former champion, having won, defended, lost, and reclaimed the 170 title, so no doubt that last loss still has a sour taste in his mouth.  Thank god this isn't HFC, or we'd hear CK with plenty of puns about what caused that taste in the mouth while flashing that infamously legendary logo...   But Kanud steps into the cage in this one to face an older fighter with a past of his own.  Noeigati lost his only title attempt at LAFC and has been up and down since having split his record 2-2-1 since.  He is 0-1-1 since joining Bellicose and wants nothing more than to get that win that has evaded him so far.  Odimabesser is a challenge, but it's a challenge Noeigati needs to pass to turn his career around.

Luciano Ocampo  vs  Brendon Carrillo-Moreno
I had no intention of going over undercard or lower fights, but this fight has some interesting potential and could mean a step up in competition for Ocampo should he win.  When Ocampo joined Bellicose waaaaaay back in December of 22,  he welcomed himself to the org with a decision win over Paul Kings.  While we do prefer the finishes, a win is a win and when it's your debut in a new org, that's a great win.  Follow that up with a KO win over one of the divisions top KO artists, and now you've started catching attention.  In this, your third fight, while not taking on a top 5 opponent, a chance to make it 3 in a row to start your career in Bellicose at 3-0, you will start being weighted down with expectations.  A win here, and those expectations will be passed as you find yourself moving up into the top 10 and looking forward to a top 5 fight to see just how badass you are.  Speaking of badass, don't forget you have to win this fight first.  The veteran Brendon will be more than happy to prevent you from getting that weight added to your shoulders.  While his last loss was to Paul Kings, he's shown stretches of dominance thought his career at LAFC and is working on doing the same at Bellicose.  Will Ocampo dispatch Carrillo-Moreno just like he did to the man that just beat him?  Or will Carrillo-Moreno bounce back and derail Ocampo's early career success train?  Brendon has the better wrestling, but lacks everywhere else.  He's got the experience and age advantage.  This likely will turn out to be one of those wrestler vs BJJ artist, but Neither's got a clear advantage on the ground.  Perhaps Ocampo tries to use his slight striking advantage?  I guess you'll just have to tune in to find out as this fight can really go either way and really be finished in a number of ways.  Damn, MMA's fucking great, isn't it?

Co-Main Event:

Michal Sykora  vs  Natalia Pisswater

Sometimes, a fighter's hype doesn't always add  up to their popularity.  This is one of those situations where these fighters find themselves as the co-main event tonight, and their popularity is expected to bring in the fans.   Both of these guys have been in slumps of late, Sykora losing 3 of his last 4 until bouncing back at Bellicose XXII with a KO over Tadageru.  I'm sure he had some pent up frustration taking on a grappler after all 3 of his last 3 losses came via submission.  This may be a "trial by fire" kind of a thing where he's forced to improve his ground game to survive.  But when you give a KO artist a ground game, they usually thrive.  In a similar boat is Pisswater.  She just snapped a 2 fight skid with a bounce back submission win over Asakura at Bellicose XXI and may be looking to duplicate that exact result against a striker who's shown he's vulnerable to submissions.  He'll need to do something as he's overmatched by Pisswater on paper, but a win would be a huge boon to his career.

Tim Horton  vs  Willie Diggs

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Tim Horton
Tim "The Great White North" Horton  (16-3)
Age:  25
Height:  187 cm
Weight:  184lbs (-1)
Country:  Canada (duh)
Manager:  Teyo Ken

Tim has been a mainstay in the spotlight for most of his Bellicose career.  With an impressive 16-3 record, and a short lived reign as a two division champion, Horton is stepping up into one of the biggest fights of his career.  Hell, by the time this night is over, it could even end up being the biggest fight of his career.  He's faced champions before, rather at 185 or 170, and he's beat most of them.  This time around, he has the advantage of experience, but no by much.  He's the favorite to win based on experience and age alone, but these guys are very evenly matched.  He's never squared off against a prodigy before, and there's no other way to better describe his opponent, Willie Diggs, and I'm not willing to say that either of these guys is the favorite to win.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Willie Diggs

"Playoff" Willie Diggs (13-3)
Age:  23
Height:  184 cm
Weight:  187lbs
Country:  USA
Manager:  Chris Karter

Willie has had a very interesting career.  His start came when he joined the Alliance World Championship tournament after being recruited by Chris Karter to represent him on the team.  Willie was raw, fresh off the streets when Karter found him, and it showed in the cage.  He stumbled a bit early on, though there's rumors out of camp Karter that the poor fighting was all by design and to his own agenda.  Well, rather it's true or Diggs just really developed well, it worked.  Diggs went on a winning streak and some would say even carried his team to victory in that tournament.  He stayed on with the org and became a member of their extremely talented roster where he never looked back.  Three fights in, he was the champion.  The following three fights, he defended his belt.  Looking to move on to bigger and better things, Diggs decided to give Bellicose a stop on his way to stardom to test himself against the best.  And, here we go.  First fight in a Bellicose cage and it will be for all the glory.  Not only would a win here be an upset due to skill and age difference, it would solidify Diggs as a prodigy and it will only be a matter of time before we see him in the top 5 P4P rankings calling out his shot at the champ.  But, let's not get ahead of ourselves.  Diggs is a beast, but he's fighting a machine.  This could be the fight of the year, and you can see it live in New York or tune in to our PPV and watch it on the big screen.

Liberty Dome Parking Garage Level B4

“Hello fight fans! It’s me Gary Juwani with the Martial Arts Minute! I’m not in my usual studio set at the moment because I’m camped out in my panel van at the arena to save a couple bucks. I do happen to have a special guest with me though! Bellicose Middleweight, Alexander Korolev!”

lhyDmY6ifwlvRBks5eMk4OFNrVTmv2eVpSgizRPs_jpLOKArK3CLUgsxp-uPpqEUKr7VIIBXC68rcdPGd34WYg7VHu_U4uWVk5roEfT2mffIY2PuAHTDYPCnKb3o17q3Hiyu6qdEZq44rBJyz2_SQg

The camera zooms out from Gary’s face to show “The Axe Murderer” standing over a makeshift campfire inside a metal trash can. He appears to be cooking…something. He doesn’t respond to Gary, but he leers at him at the mention of his name.

”Right…..so Alex, can I call you Alex? Anyway, I know you’re here originally because of your main card bout with Oke Swahn tomorrow night. Can you tell us about that?”

“Swahn seeks bloodshed, I’m happy to oblige.”

“He’s made a career of being a KO artist of sorts, you’ve been a bit of a killer yourself over the past 6 months. Any chance we see something different from you tomorrow night?”

“No”

“Tim Horton claims that you pressed Assault and Battery charges on him after your fight because he ‘hit’ you over 200 times. Can you give the people your side of the story?”

“False. I don’t consort with authorities in any country, and battery charges can only be pressed when there’s visible marks made on the victim. Timmy did not. The only police officers I saw approach Timmy were the male escorts he hired that night to dress that way and come to his hotel room. I believe his claims of bailing out were when he paid them for services rendered.”

“Shocking, but not surprising. Do you think Horton successfully defends his title against Willie Diggs tonight?”

“William seeks bloodshed, Timmy does not. He will not survive.”

“Is he someone you’d be interested in facing in the future should you get by Swahn tomorrow?”

“I would be happy to oblige.”

“Great to hear, Alex. Thank you for coming out and speaking to us today. Good luck in your fight tomorrow!”

“You begged me to stay before the camera started recording.”

“Wow he IS a character isn’t he? This has been Gary Juwani from the Martial Arts Minute! Goodnight everyone!”

"A snowtwink about to get his cheeks clapped." - Willie Diggs before Bellicose XXIX

Willie Diggs had a powerful message for his Canadian-born opponent Tim Horton ahead of today's fight. These two fighters have been trash talking each other for weeks leading up to their Championship fight, and it ended with the challenger telling the champ that he was about to clap those cheeks. The vulgar statement proved profane and circulated the twitter-sphere as the buildup intensified, and when it came time to fight, clap those cheeks he did indeed.

Diggs lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Horton - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Diggs!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Willie Diggs!

185 lbs, BELLICOSE

Willie Diggs is the new middleweight champion!

After the fight, Willie Diggs was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

"Props to that (expletive) for stepping in here with me. I'm a baaaad man. But this is just the beginning. This is just a pitstop. I'm about to (expletive) this division up and bounce to the big leagues and (expletive) them up too. SYN, Combate, I want that PPV money. If y'all wanna sign me, whatever contract you send, add a zero."

There's no one-trick pony here boys!  Took Sykora down via submission last time.  This time that Hardman fella said I would go the same route against a striker?  Hmm, how bout we just show that we can beat them at their own game?  That's what my camp said we should do to send a statement, and that's what I did!  More on this at the press conference tomorrow, in true Pisswater family fashion!

16054530369729.png Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Adrian Adamos Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Taz FeoTeo

Bellicose Middleweight champion "Playoff" Willie Diggs (14-3-0) takes on RISE Middleweight gatekeeper and professional fight dodger Adrian "Godspeed" Adamos (7-4-0) this weekend at Bellicose XXXII after a war of words between Adamos and fellow RISE Middleweight contender Taz FeoTeo (6-1-0) escalated into a confrontation that dragged Willie smack down in the middle of it.

Willie is a legitimate top 10 middleweight in the world, so this fight with such a lowly ranked contender should have never been made, but the rivalry these two formed during their time in the Alliance World Championships together has finally boiled over into their MMA careers after Adamos called Willie out on social media and Willie promptly accepted...

But under one condition; Ademos must get a tattoo that says "I ❤️ Willie" should he lose.

Adamos agreed to those terms. Within 24 hours the Greek fighter was released from his legal obligations with the RISE organization and signed to Bellicose.

Bellicose org owner, J.W. Hardman, sent the fight offer to their respective management teams and both fighters quickly signed the dotted line.

Willie is one of the leaders of the #BFM movement in the MMA industry. He led Team Convicted to gold during the Alliance World Championships after an immaculate playoff performance. He carried the momentum of his win streak with him to the RISE organization as he quickly rose up the ranks and captured the Middleweight title with a stunning knockout against former champion Kane Thoupos. Willie continued his knockout streak and went on to defend that title 3 more times, pulverizing Action Jackson's top Middleweight prospects in the process.

Adamos has been linked to far-right Marxists groups in his homeland of Greece. He made headlines when he ducked a fight during the Alliance World Championships, forfeiting a match in the most humiliating and disgraceful way possible. Adamos' hasn't found the same success as his counterpart since the AWC ended. He's 4-3 since joining the RISE Middleweight division, despite favorable matchmaking due to his connections to the former owner. After avenging a loss to Moncontour Chevrolet with an impressive first round KO, he somehow managed to talk his way into a fight with the most promising Middleweight prospect in the land, Willie Diggs.

Rumors have it that Adamos used racial slurs during an instagram live exchange between he and Willie Diggs.

Adamos denies using racial slurs but insist that Willie is disrespectful, insulted his mother, and threatened to impregnate her against her will.

Willie doesn't deny those allegations, and he doubled down when he was asked to clarify:

"I'll tie that (expletive) down and put a baby in her." Willie said before he went on a racially charged rant about white people that was filled with antisemitic tropes.

Racial tensions have never been higher between two camps and Willie has promised to "Clap those cheeks in the 1st round" when they step into the cage together this weekend.

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Adrian Adamos

 Adrian "Godspeed" Adamos (7-4-0)

"The flamboyant young man has a big imagination. Unfortunately, he will have to do more than just talk once we are in the cage together. He will actually have to step up and put his money where his mouth is. I have overcome the adversity put before me in the past. I acknowledge my opponent has a win over somebody who beat me, in an embarrassing display of grappling on my part. I could have done more to prepare then for that particular camp, but that is all in the past today.  I am built for this fight and his record, nor rank scare me. He trains with some of the best in the world, currently and historically and I respect the time he has put into the craft.  I hope you are prepared for war, little WILLIE.

"Little Willie" hit that boy Adamos so hard he was trying to tackle the ref.

Adamos throws a right hand that misses and Diggs scores with a counter punch that sends Adamos to the canvas! Diggs smells blood - he's punishing Adamos with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Adamos has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Willie Diggs!

FeoTeo labels Adamos ‘scared to death’ after Bellicose XXXII

Willie Diggs (15-3-0) absolutely ran through Adrian "Godspeed" Adamos (7-5-0) last weekend in the real Bellicose XXXII main event to retain the Middleweight title. After a short exchange on the feet, Willie timed a beautiful right hand perfectly, knocked Adamos to the floor without issue, and wrapped it up with a fight-ending flurry of punches that left Adamos so buzzed that he shot a takedown on a referee. Fans waited years for the rivalry that formed during the AWC between Diggs-Adamos to play out, but the whole thing barely lasted a minute!

On the other side of the equation, a lot of critique has been thrown in Adamos’ direction. It was, to put it bluntly, a bad showing for “Godspeed.” As a result, the former AWC star has been accused of failing to take the sport seriously, and his striking defense has been mocked extensively. Numerous fans online are calling for Adamos to abandon his long-time coach Scott Bandz as a result of the defeat.

Future RISE title challenger Taz FeoTeo (7-1-0) has a different perspective. In his view, Adamos lost the mental battle and was afraid of his opponent, which is more costly than a mere technical error.

“Adrian Adamos was scared to death,” Taz said on his YouTube Channel. “The way that Adrian Adamos tried to hug Willie on the first move of the fight, dropped my jaw, and I’m not the biggest believer in Adrian Adamos, I don’t want to be a jerk to Adamos, or ever kick a guy when he’s down, I’ve been in his exact spot.”

He continued, “Adamos was not the first choice for Willie's match, Joe Exotic was, Adamos was not the second choice, Winston Todd was, so we went with our ninth choice. Understanding that, I still didn’t know that Adamos was scared. Adrian Adamos is allegedly, I’ve never seen it with my own eyes, but I’ve been told a professional kickboxer. I’ve never seen him do it with my own eyes,” he said. “So Adrian is a striker and we’re gonna start this damn thing in your realm, you can’t be scared, just can’t be. He comes out there and tries to hug the man and Willie clapped his cheeks.”

Taz finished the video by saying, "I do think Adamos can bounce back, I really do. He's a really skilled fighter, but Willie just outclassed him. And I do think (Adamos) needs to take this shit a little more seriously or he's gonna get hurt if he throws hands with me."

While I'm training for Adlehyde, I could use an extra quality sparring partner. Not many guys around who could mimic his style and are somewhat similar beasts. While at Bellicose, I have seen one youngster who could be the guy...

Are you up for it Willie

My focus is purely on Adlehyde, a real beast of a fighter.

Willie can keep playing with his little willy for all I care. I offered to train together and he declined such offer. Lack of respect for his elders. Young man has a lot to learn still.
